Dr. Evalyn N. Grant is the U.S. Regional Director of Respiratory Scientific Affairs at Merck & Co., Inc. She serves as scientific liaison to investigators, scientists and professional societies. Additionally, she supports the development, conduct and publishing of clinical studies through her collaboration with colleagues in the Clinical Development and Outcomes Research Groups.

Dr. Grant was an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics and Immunology/Microbiology at Rush University Medical Center. She was also an attending physician in the Division of Allergy and Immunology, Department of Pediatrics Cook County Children’s Hospital, Chicago Illinois. While at Rush, Dr. Grant published peer reviewed journal publications, scientific abstracts, book chapters and other publications in the areas of asthma epidemiology and outcomes.

She continues to serve as a peer reviewer for several journals including: Annals of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology; Pediatrics; Critical Care Medicine; and Pediatric Critical Care Medicine.

Dr. Grant earned her medical degree from Rush Medical College, Chicago, Illinois. She completed her residency in Pediatrics at the University of Chicago, and her fellowship in Allergy and Clinical Immunology at Rush University Medical Center.
