Projects Evaluation Manager
Yvonne Ohadike became the Projects Evaluation Manager of the Merck Childhood Asthma Network in October, 2007. In this position, Yvonne is responsible for providing guidance, oversight, and input into the MCAN Project Sites cross-site evaluation and outcome measures as well as into processes of data entry, analyses, and interpretation. Yvonne also contributes significantly to the preparation of scientific manuscripts and presentations on MCAN projects, evaluates MCAN enterprise goals and assists in strategic planning.
Yvonne has worked in the public health arena for over 10 years and has extensive experience in epidemiology, health outcomes analysis, and survey development/implementation. Prior to MCAN, Yvonne was with Macro International, where she provided epidemiological technical assistance to federal and state agencies. Yvonne has also worked with the Louisiana Office of Public Health implementing chronic disease surveillance activities and RTI International on cost effectiveness and racial disparities analyses. She has written and contributed to publications on topics ranging from case management for high risk pregnant women, immunization coverage in public and private pediatric clinics, and adolescent tobacco use.
Yvonne holds a Bachelors in Science from University College London, a Masters in Science from Brunel University, Middlesex, England, a Masters in Public Health and a PhD in Epidemiology from Tulane University.
