Laurice joined MCAN in September 2005 and was part of the initial organization of the MCAN office alongside Floyd Malveaux. She organized the initial get-together, where the grantees first met each other, and the luncheon after the press conference, where the grantees were officially announced. Aptly titled Administrative Associate for the office, she currently manages the over-all office operations, MCAN budget, and official MCAN correspondence.

Laurice was affiliated with JK Harris and Co., a financial consulting firm, prior to joining MCAN. In the capacity of being a financial resolution specialist, she aided clients in resolving most of their student loan and general credit concerns.

Laurice earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with concentration in biopsychology from the University of Maryland, and intends to pursue higher education in finance and accounting.
